It calculates the quantity of various building .ponents and creates a database for the manufacturer. BIM makes project .munication easy, removing all bottlenecks faced in earlier softwares. The architectural model made on BIM can be modified as many times creating several options for the owner. BIM Models are as real as it gets. Virtual buildings are not a myth and have been evolving for the last 25 years. For those who made the shift from 2D drafting to 3D modeling were never able to go back because they had discovered that even the simplest of structures are faster to plan and document on BIM. New buildings and renovations are also increasingly being designed on BIM. Sketches, CAD drafts are all now being converting to BIM because of its efficiency and reliability. Many organizations have now begun to provide 2D CAD to Revit, 2D CAD to 3D AutoCAD and other CAD to BIM model conversions, making .plex structures simple and flat representations obsolete.
